Abstract: In this paper, the authors discuss the use of public spaces by teenagers in four public parks in Lisbon, as as part of the larger research project under the auspices of the European Union. Using the living labs methodology, the study centered on teenagers as potential co-creators of public spaces through their social and spatial practices, and considers their potential for civic involvement and place making.
