Advanced technologies have the potential to ensure safe and sustainable water supply, a major global challenge of the near future. TiO2-containing photocatalyst, wich combine TiO2 with carbon-based materials, are promising materials for wastewater treatment due to synergistic photodegradation and adsorption phenomena. The purpose of this study was to develop TiO2/AC composites and test fresh and photo-regenetared materials for the removal of methylene blue in aqueous solutiopns prepared in ultrapure water or in wastewater effluent.pt_BR
