dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a viscoplastic overstress soil model that incorporates the subloading surface concept with a moving centre of homothety. The model is formulated to represent the soil rate dependent behaviour under cyclic loading and incorporates both initial and induced anisotropy. The model was implemented into the explicit finite difference code 11 FLAC. The model was able to reproduce accurately the stress-strain response from cyclic undrained triaxial creep tests performed on a stiff clay from the Lisbon region (Formação de Benfica). | pt_BR |
