dc.description.abstractThis document constitutes a Technical report of Action B7.2 “Full-scale demo in case study II: Chemical enhancement measures “ of the project LIFE Impetus - Improving current barriers for controlling pharmaceutical compounds in urban wastewater treatment plants (LIFE14 ENV/PT/000739). This report summarizes the activities developed in action B7.2 and addresses two full scale tests of powdered activated carbon (PAC) addition to the biological reactor of the FNW wastewater treatment plant for controlling the targeted pharmaceutical compounds (PhCs).
