Title: Book of Proceedings: NATURELAB International Workshop I
Authors: Barbosa, A. E.; Rebelo, M.
Abstract: The NATURELAB International Workshop I (IWI), held in VU Amsterdam on 9-10
October 2025, served as an international platform for joint discussion, knowledge
exchange, and critical reflection within the nature-based solutions and therapies
community. The IWI brought together nearly 80 participants over the course of two days,
fostering a vibrant and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas. We gratefully acknowledge
Leonie Stekelenburg and Caroline Meier zu Biesen , our local organisers, for their
outstanding commitment to the success of this event.

Title: Final report of LIFE Fitting
Authors: Rosa, M. J.; Campinas, M.; Silva, C.
Abstract: The LIFE Fitting project (2023-2025) involved 3 partners (LNEC, TRATAVE, SA, Universidade Católica do Porto) and successfully achived its two main objectives: (i) to soundly evaluate, at full scale, operational strategies to enhance the removal of micropolluants, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and other contaminants of emerging concem (CECs) in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) with activated sludge (AS) systems and ozonation and (ii) to developed the PLAN-DO toolbox for smart monitoring, operation, and strategic planning of such plants integrating 5 tools: Monitor Tool, PAStool, CEC Forecast Tool, Smart Discharge Tool, and Plan Tool.

Guidelines for maintenance of WOLLs.

Title: Guidelines for maintenance of WOLLs.
Authors: Obinna, U.; Silva, C.; Rosa, M. J.
Abstract: This document is a strategic manual produced within the Water4All Partnership, specifically for Pillar D Demonstration activities, task D2.6 – Replication of Methodologies. The core purpose of this task is to create guidelines that will (i) ensure the successful replication of methodologies for Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs) and (ii) support their lasting upkeep and performance beyond Water4All (Annex 1). WOLLs are realistic, user-focused environments where stakeholders collaborate to co-create, test, and validate innovative water solutions in real-world conditions. The Water4All activities for the replication of methodologies provide directives for maintaining and strategically evolving WOLLs, with a focus on Demonstration efforts. This report builds on the groundwork laid by earlier activities implemented in the framework of Water4All Pillar D, including the startup guide for setting up a WOLL and the strategic roadmap for creating and maintaining a successful WOLL. Its principal objective is to ensure the long-term viability, development, and effectiveness of WOLLs through the duplication of proven methods and effective approaches.

Authors: Cardoso, M. A.; Almeida, M. C.; Telhado, M.; Teixeira, P.; Oliveira, P.; Mendes, R.; Brito, R.
