Abstract: This paper presents the Structural Health Monitoring of Cabala Bridge, over Kwanza River, in Angola. Besides the interest in the information given by such system operating in this region of Africa, some innovative procedures were used, like scour monitoring and water level measurement by radar system. Static and dynamic tests carried out by the end of construction are also presented, and the experimental results are compared with the values computed by the numerical model developed.
